What is included in the Annual Meeting Package?
The special conference fee includes four nights accommodations (9/30-10/3), two days of the conference program, and a full complement of meals. If you register for the Admission Training Institute, two additional hotel nights (9/28-29) are included.

Is travel included as part of the Annual Meeting Package?
The package rate does not include flights or ground transportation; please make your own travel arrangements for the conference. SSATB has arranged group discount codes for flights booked through Kuller/Class A/I.T. Travel, and for rental cars booked through Hertz. This information can be found in Travel Information.

Can I register by fax or mail?
In order to provide consistent, high quality service to all Annual Meeting attendees, SSATB requests that you use the online registration form to reserve conference and hotel space. If you are unable to register online, please contact SSATB at 609-683-5558 x224 to arrange an alternate registration method.

My school/company is not a member of SSATB. Can I attend the conference?
Conference space is very limited, and registration is currently available for SSATB member schools and organizations only. If you are not currently a member but would like to attend this year's meeting, please submit an inquiry form (located on the online registration page), and we will notify you when registration is available. Please note: non-members who have attended previous Annual Meetings must apply for SSATB membership in order to register for this year's meeting.

Can my spouse/guest accompany me to conference events?
Conference attendees may register a spouse/guest to attend the evening program functions. Additional fees will apply. Please check your confirmation materials for more information on spouse/guest registration.

Can I book my room reservations directly through the hotel?
Please do not contact the hotel directly for room reservations. The complimentary room nights and discounted room rates are only available through the SSATB online registration process. Reservations made through the hotel will not receive the Annual Meeting rates and cannot then be honored by SSATB. For information additional rooms or additional nights, please see the following sections.

Can I select a specific type of room when I register?
Rooms will be assigned in preferential order based on the date your registration is received and are subject to hotel room availability based on the dates of your stay.

Is there a discount for attendees staying fewer than four nights?
No. The conference registration package includes the conference activities, meals and specific hotel nights described on the registration form. They may not be transferred or redeemed for a discounted rate.

Is there a discount available if I share a room with another attendee, or if I do not stay at the hotel?
The conference registration package includes the conference activities, meals and specific hotel nights described on the registration form. They may not be transferred or redeemed for a discounted rate. However, we would appreciate it if you note "No room required" on your online registration form, in order to allow another attendee to register for this limited event.

Can I substitute hotel nights?
No. The conference registration package includes the conference activities, meals and specific hotel nights described on the registration form. No substitutions are permitted.

Can I book additional nights at the hotel?
If you plan to arrive in Washington, DC early or to stay beyond the nights of the conference, a discounted group rate is available for conference attendees.

Group rate per night: $278 USD (+ 14.5% state and local occupancy tax)
Run of House, single or double occupancy.

All reservations must be made through SSATB directly to receive the group rate. Do not contact the hotel directly.

Can I pay by check?
Yes, but you should still complete the online registration form and provide a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) to guarantee your registration. You will then have two weeks (or until 8/15/09, whichever comes first) to send your check to SSATB. If your check is not received by this deadline, your credit card will be charged for the pending conference fees, in order to confirm your registration position.

Can I pay for additional charges using a different payment method?
Although we must collect your credit card information when you submit your registration, only the fees for your selected conference package will be charged immediately. Any additional charges (additional nights or services, beyond those included in the conference package) will be settled upon your check-out at the hotel. When you arrive at the hotel, you may provide alternate payment information.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Due to the special conference package pricing for this year's program, the following policies will apply to any cancellations or substitutions (for the conference or pre/post-meeting hotel reservations).
